Japanese Fast Food: Wild Bamboo

I have noticed that there are a lot of Korean restaurants emerging the city of love nowadays. People would flock from one restaurant to another trying out what's new in the menu. However Japanese restaurants have started to surface too like Hamada, Suehiro, Wild Bamboo and the newly opened Akiyama. These are just some of the Japanese restaurants I know here in Iloilo City. Anyways, last Monday my blogger friends and I were invited at Wild Bamboo for food tasting and also to promote their business. They have a wide array of delicious yet affordable meals to satisfy your cravings. What I liked most among the food that was served was the California Maki and the Wild Bamboo Rolls. It's definitely a must try!

Greenwich Crispy Thins

Yesterday, my fellow bloggers and I were invited by Greenwich to their newest launch of the Greenwich Crispy Thins. The crispy thins comes in five flavors which is the Signature, All-Meat, 7-Cheese and Pepperoni. We were served each of the five flavors and I could say that each bite bursts with flavor! Crispy Thins has less crust so you get to enjoy more flavor from your pizza. They have also mentioned that they have a new member to the Greenwich Barkada and that is Yassi Pressman. She is a talented Filipino-British beauty with exceptional talents and the newest Greenwich's it-girl! She is truly worth representing Greenwich!

We were also served by this yummy Choco Banana Crisp which is the newest addition to their menu although its not part of the Crispy Thins campaign. From the name itself, this pizza has banana in it and the choco is the nutella which is drizzled on top of the pizza. So I'm sure all those nutella lovers out there will surely try this out. Well among the pizzas that I have tasted, I think this is what I liked most. (because I love nutella! haha)
So to those who haven't tried the Greenwich Crispy Thins yet, grab a bite now and tell me your crispy thin experience!

Double Chocolate with Strawberries

It was a hot Friday afternoon when my college classmate invited me to stroll at a mall. She then told me that she was going to treat us for a snack so I then suggested to eat at Book Latte. I've been seeing their Facebook page and I couldn't help but drool over those luscious waffles. So I tried this Double Chocolate waffle with strawberries. It's a two piece waffle with a slice of butter, chocolate chips, strawberries (not fresh) and with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. It's perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack paired with a hot cup of cocoa or your favorite drink. The only thing I don't like in this waffle is that the strawberries. I was expecting for fresh strawberries but they served canned ones.

Rainbow Slushies & Pretzel

Oh how I missed this freshly baked pretzel from Rainbow Slushies & Pretzel! Too bad they have already closed down. They were open for just a couple of months and I don't know what happened that they had never opened again. I was planning to try out all varieties of their pretzels because they really look mouthwatering especially for a sweet toothed person like me! Haha.. I can remember how my eyes grow big and my mouth drools every time I go there. I just wanna grab a bite to that crunchy in the outside but soft in the inside kind of pretzel. Now I won't be able to see those yummy pretzels again. (sad)  How I wish they would open up again.
