Happy Kitchen

I've always wanted to try Happy Kitchen in Amigo Mall. The place attracts me because of its interior decorations, lightings and the cool things inside it. Last week, I was finally able to go there. The place was cozy and the service was great! The food was okay but I find it pricey for its serving size. The only thing I like there was their Cranberry slush and the 3 C's juice which was placed in cute jars. You better try checking out their place and tell me your Happy Kitchen experience!

Mango Cinnamon Crepes

Mango Cinnamon Crepes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Combine flour, milk, eggs and oil.
  2. Add salt.
  3. Heat a lightly greased skillet; remove from heat.
  4. Spoon in 2 tbsp batter; lift and tilt skillet to spread evenly.
  5. Return to heat; brown on one side only.
  6. To remove, invert pan over paper toweling. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  7. Fill with your favorite filling. Here's a few I like: any flavor fruit jam, sweetened fresh peaches, cream cheese, ham and maple syrup.

Filling

  • Butter
  • Fresh diced mangoes
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Sugar

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet and melt butter.
  2. Add mangoes, a dash of sugar and cinnamon powder.
  3. Wait until mangoes soften.
  4. Remove skillet from heat and place filling on crepes.
* You can serve the filling hot or cold depending on your preference.

Here's my finished product!
