Pan de Manila's Chocolate con Leche

Rainy season is here again! Do you know what I love most when it's raining? (drum roll) It's sleeping on my bed and drinking hot coca or any hot chocolate drink!!! Oh how I miss hot cocoa! Anyways, I just want to blog about Pan de Manila's Chocolate con Leche.  It's a delicious cocoa drink and perfect for cold weather like this! You can also try Chocolate Blanco. It's white chocolate drink and I just love the taste. At my first taste, I find it similar to Toblerone's white chocolate. Though I find it too sweet as I keep on drinking it. Then there's Cafe con leche which I haven't tried yet. (I'm acidic to coffee!) So here's my photos of the drink!

Ingredients: creamer, muscovado sugar, refined sugar, milk powder, cocoa tablea

Comma Cafe: A touch of Korea

My childhood friends/bestfriends/2nd cousins/sisters in Christ (there's a lot to name them! haha) and my twin (yes, I have a twin sister!) wanted to catch up with each other. It's been a year since our last group date though we always see each other at church! haha.. Anyways, we just wanted to eat out at a place something different and something new to our senses. Also, we wanted to bond with each other, have some updates with our lives and talk about anything under the rain! Too bad it was raining too hard when we get there but the good thing is we're the only customers in the first hour and the place was so cozy and peaceful. After that, a lot of customers started barging in the cafe and got a little bit noisy. To cut the story short, here are some photos of our get together. Enjoy..hope you won't drool over the pictures! (grin)

The unique thing about their belgian waffle is that they don't use baking soda. (I don't know why.)
You can opt to add a scoop of ice cream on your waffle for only 10 php.

According to my sister, this strawberry ade tastes like Kool-Aid juice.

This waffle has blueberry toppings with strawberry ice cream on top.

5 Grains smoothie is their best seller drink. The 5 grains are black beans, brown rice, barley cane, black rice & black sesame. It is good for diet, improves blood circulation, stomach strengthening, prevents hypertension, energy supplement and bone strengthening.

INTERIORS

What you see on the wall are some photos of  famous Korean singers or actors.

I love their wall painting. It's so cool!

Before you reach the counter, there's a table on the side where they place KPOP posters, file, name tags, and post it papers in affordable prices.

Their wall of post-its. Added something on that wall too. :)
REPAPIPZ is what we call our group. It's a Filipino street slang meaning group of friends.

REVIEW
My overall experience is good and I would definitely go back there again. The place is cool, cozy and well ventilated. What's Korean with this cafe is that they serve some Korean dishes and the boy serving the food is a Korean! haha .. Their food is delicious especially their Bulgogi (Korean dish that usually consists of grilled marinated beef.which is not on the photo. Though the only thing I would comment is with their serving time because it took a long time for the food to be served. So why don't you visit their place and tell me your Comma Cafe experience!

Happy Kitchen

I've always wanted to try Happy Kitchen in Amigo Mall. The place attracts me because of its interior decorations, lightings and the cool things inside it. Last week, I was finally able to go there. The place was cozy and the service was great! The food was okay but I find it pricey for its serving size. The only thing I like there was their Cranberry slush and the 3 C's juice which was placed in cute jars. You better try checking out their place and tell me your Happy Kitchen experience!
